Who Really Runs Eastridge Hills? Hint: You Didn’t Elect Her.

The Queen of EH

The Reality:

She’s at every meeting, but her name never appeared on your ballot. She’s never faced a single vote, yet she speaks like a lawyer, steers policy like a board chair, and hands out advice like it’s gospel. Her name is Priscilla—the representative from The Kelly Company—and for over a decade, she’s been the most influential figure in Eastridge Hills.

The Consequences:

Priscilla operates in the shadows of our HOA governance. With no vote and no official power, she nonetheless shapes major decisions:

  • Policy? She drafts it.
  • Fines? She and others profit from them.
  • Legal fees? Skyrocketing—thanks to her referrals.
  • Monthly Dues? Just under the line that would require homeowners voting.

Surveillance, landscape, security, gate repairs? Recommended by her and Eastridge POA, paid for by us.

And let’s not forget the mysterious oversight of uncollected back fees and dues on a foreclosed home, or the ongoing weed abatement bills we’re footing for land the City of Fairfield owns. She even claimed “No Parking” signs were installed due to city ordinance—before the street existed. We own the streets-not the City.

You can’t make this stuff up.

But here’s the real kicker: In a recent public meeting, Priscilla claimed contractors refuse to work with our HOA because of its “bad reputation.” Really? All vendors have to go through The Kelly Company — so where’s that damaged reputation coming from?

Call to Action:

We are not alone in the desire to change. Recently another major HOA in town choose to replace Priscilla and the Kelly Company. They had many of the same issues including HOA Board Directors who were more interested in the resume cred and absolute power over homeowners without apology.

So here’s what we do next:

It’s time to flip the script. If Priscilla wields this much unchecked influence, why is our elected Board allowing it? The answer is clear: They support her continued presence—even when it harms the community.

  • Step one—Replace the HOA Board with members who serve homeowners, not management.
  • Step two—Reevaluate our contract with The Kelly Company and demand transparency, accountability, and results.
  • Step three—Reclaim control of our HOA.

Enough is enough. The power belongs to the homeowners—not a management rep who answers to no one but her own bottom line.

Let’s return Eastridge Hills to the people who actually live here.

The time for change is long overdue.
