Dear Yvonne and Judy,
First, thank you for once again stepping up to serve on the Eastridge Hills HOA Social Committee. Your energy, creativity, and history of organizing events like our annual “Night Out” have built the foundation for a stronger, friendlier community – and this Board is truly grateful.
As you know, all HOA committees are advisory in nature, but your role is anything but small. In many cases, the Board has set aside budget funds, direct mailer support, and website space to help make important community-building events happen. The new Board has pledged to continue this tradition… you’ll have full support from us.
We’d love to see a fresh look at neighborhood events moving forward. The Board is open to stepping up funding for events that spark participation and improve neighbor-to-neighbor communication. The Block Party on Donald Ridge Court is the perfect example of how events like this can create connections — and even solve little communication snags before they become real problems.
I’ve included some Board-generated “idea starters” for you to consider. They’re not a blueprint, just a spark for your own creativity (and that of any new committee members you might recruit). Most importantly, know that the Board is fully behind you – and when it comes time for approvals, give us a plan and a budget . . . we’ll move quickly to keep the momentum going.
Thank you again for all you’ve done – and for all that’s ahead.
Warmly,
Carolyn Goodall
President, Eastridge Hills HOA
