Back Gate Is Getting the Glow

Our Back Gate Is Getting the Glow-Up It Deserves

REALITY CHECK:

Let’s be honest — the Gate at 875 Bridle Ridge Drive hasn’t exactly been giving “Exclusive Community Entrance” vibes lately. More like “RoughDraft with a Dream.” For years, irrigation lines leaked, sprinklers watered plants that died two HOA administrations ago, and our water bills behaved like they were trying to join SpaceX.

So the Board rolled up its sleeves. Over the past few weeks you’ve seen contractors digging, replacing broken pipes, swapping out dead-end valves, and finally bringing that system into the 21st century. We dug into the problem (literally) because our water bills – the HOA’s, too – were skyrocketing. And no, it wasn’t just California’s ever-creative water pricing to fund the latest “super SO-Cal Aqueduct of Destiny.” We found real failures underground, and we fixed them.

TRUTH/CONSEQUENCES:

This is a big, messy, expensive project. But here’s the upside: reducing leaks means real future water savings. And remember… anyone driving through the back gate gets a first impression of our neighborhood, your property values, and the pride we take in our shared space.

We’re not stopping with pipes and valves. The current (tree waste) mulch will be replaced this spring, and we’re already building a budget to reintroduce healthy trees and fresh vegetation. Because our members invest serious time and money into maintaining beautiful homes – and your HOA Board has every intention of matching that standard at the entrance we all share.

If you drive by every day, the gradual improvements might blend into the background. But trust us: Potential homebuyers notice. And they judge. And we’re making sure what they see says, “Welcome to Eastridge Hills – we take pride in this place.”

CALL TO ACTION:

Take another look next time you pass through the back gate in the coming weeks. If you’ve got ideas, questions, or a green thumb itching to weigh in, reach out. This is your community, your (first impression) entrance, and your HOA Board is committed to keeping it something we’re all proud to drive through.
