Because the publisher of this website is married to a current HOA Director, we recognize that some readers may reasonably ask how confidential HOA information is protected. To eliminate both actual and perceived conflicts of interest, this website follows an Ethical Wall Policy.

The HOA Director does not provide, and the publisher does not request or receive:

Historical Independence
EastridgeHills.com was established before Mrs. Carolyn A. Goodall was elected to the Eastridge Hills Board of Directors. The domain name was registered on March 23rd, 2018, and the website began publishing commentary, analysis, and discussion of HOA issues years before her Board service.
The website’s mission has remained consistent: to provide homeowners with information, encourage informed discussion, and offer independent commentary on matters affecting the community. That mission has not changed because of any Board election, appointment, or change in HOA leadership.
The publisher’s editorial decisions are made independently and are not directed, influenced, or approved by any member of the Board.
Discontinuing or altering the website solely because a family member was elected to the Board would undermine the very principle of editorial independence that this policy is intended to preserve. Instead, the website maintains a clear Ethical Wall to ensure that confidential Board information remains confidential while protecting the publisher’s right to gather publicly available information, express opinions, and encourage the lawful exchange of ideas, whether those ideas are supportive, critical, or somewhere in between.
The purpose of this website is not to advance the interests of any individual or Board. Its purpose is to encourage transparency, accountability, respectful debate, and an informed membership through commentary based on publicly available information and clearly identified opinion.
